Bioengineering student selected for Mission Nike

Congratulations to Lielka Caballa, Bioengineering student, who is currently in exchange at Georgia Tech and from there had the opportunity to apply for the LunAres Research Station call for the Nike Analog Mission to be held from May 31 to June 17.

The Nike mission will focus on testing new training equipment, training routines and medical examinations of the crew. This will also help test new ways to monitor the vital signs of analog astronauts within the LunAres station, as well as during simulated spacewalks.

The mission commander will be Matej Poliaček, who works in ISS Flight Operations, as a member of the Columbus Flight Control team.
