We congratulate the students Adriana Castilla and Andre Aldasabal who obtained the first place in the contest held at the event «Latin American Congress of Students of Chemical Engineering and Related Careers (COLAEIQ)”, The project is based on the Model and Simulation of a combined cycle plant in Peru. The event took place last July in El Salvador and had participants from all over Latin America. They describe their experience as follows: “Participating in this event was an unforgettable experience, and the achievement is a reflection of our effort and the valuable support of our faculty advisors. We had the opportunity to meet wonderful people from different countries, from whom we learned a lot. And above all, we are proud to have contributed to the community of chemical engineers and related careers with a work that promotes environmental responsibility in energy processes”
